Quality and Environment Directorate TÜRKÇİMENTO Laboratories were founded in 1978 under UNIDO project to establish a Center of Excellence within the scope of the test and research of cement and similar materials and continued its activities under the name of “Cement and Concrete Research Development Institute” in 1995. Having expanded its services to the cement-concrete manufacturer and users with R&D Institute staff and laboratory facilities in the last 40 years, it now offers impartial quality control studies, calibration, research development studies, test services and consultancy services. Test Laboratories and Calibration Laboratories, which were accredited by TÜRKAK according to TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard in 2003 and 2006 with the certificate nos: AB-0007-T and AB-0038-K respectively, provide service national and international as the first accredited laboratory of Turkey on cement.” During the 2023 vision of Turkey and European Union integration process, within the framework of the level achieved in terms of the harmonization of the environmental legislation, Waste Analysis Laboratory was established in 2013 within the body of TÜRKÇİMENTO R&D Institute to fulfill the analysis need of the country and the sector for emission.
