What is Raw Meal?
The primary raw materials utilized in cement production are limestone, clay, and marl. Iron ore can be incorporated to address iron demands, while bauxite serves as a raw material to fulfill aluminum demands.
Raw materials are initially loaded onto transport vehicles at the kiln site. These materials undergo primary size reduction through jaw crushers fitted with dedusting units. The crushed materials are then segregated and stored according to their specific types.
Subsequently, raw materials undergo grinding in a mill to produce raw meal, i.e., a formulated mixture of raw materials. The main components of the raw meal, a precisely proportioned mixture of cement constituents, are calcium oxide and silicium dioxide resources.
