What is Blended Cement?

Blended cement incorporates mineral components, including fly ash, blast furnace slag, pozzolana, and limestone, as primary constituents, resulting in lower carbon emissions compared to CEM I cement.

Blended cement exhibits a lower clinker ratio in comparison to CEM I Portland Cement and abilities that positively influence its performance characteristics. Low-carbon blended cements significantly enhance the lifetime durability of reinforced concrete structures, especially in environments exposed to severe environmental stressors. In our country, we are capable of producing low-carbon blended cement that demonstrates performance equivalence to CEM I Portland Cement.

Blended cement is formulated with a reduced clinker content compared to Portland cement, resulting in improved performance characteristics both for cement and concrete, providing an advantage, especially in the production of structural components intended for use in environments exposed to severe environmental stressors.

Additionally, the integration of mineral additives is critical for enhancing energy efficiency and minimizing emissions. This approach results in a product that is more environmentally conscious, characterized by lower carbon emissions.
