Climate Change Summit 2023: Green Transformation Event

The “Climate Change Summit 2023: Green Transformation” Event was organized on June 14, 2023, by the Capital and Economist magazines in cooperation with Türkiye’s Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and the United Nations Development Programme UNDP under the scope of long-term climate change strategies.  

UNDP Türkiye Resident Representative Louisa Vinton, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Birpınar, Deputy Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, gave opening remarks at the summit. Orhan Solak, the Chairman of the Climate Change Department under the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, moderated a panel discussion themed “Climate Change, Transformation Economy and Opportunities” with the attendance of M. Erkam Kocakerim, Limak CEO and Volkan Bozay, CEO, in the representation of TÜRKÇİMENTO.
