During the January–September period of 2025, cement production increased by 7.5% compared to the same period of the previous year. Approximately 16.9% of the cement produced in the first nine months of 2025 was exported.

 In the January–September 2025 period, domestic sales increased by 6.3%, while cement exports rose by 13.7% compared to the previous year. Following an approximate 9% growth in 2024, the sector entered 2025 with increases in both the domestic market and exports. However, in February and March, production and domestic sales declined due to the base effect. Sales recovered in April, and in May, the highest domestic sales volume in history was recorded. The sector continued to grow over the subsequent four months.

On a regional basis, declines in domestic sales were observed in the Marmara and Aegean Regions.
