Award for TÜRKÇİMENTO Academy, the Pioneer of Change

TÜRKÇİMENTO Academy, the platform through which TÜRKÇİMENTO shares its nearly 70 years of experience and plays a pioneering role in the transformation of the industry, received the “Strategic Business Partner Award” at the Enocta Day event, where 600 projects were evaluated.

Held on September 26, 2025, under the theme “Shape the Future,” Enocta Day brought together leading institutions from both the public and private sectors. As one of Türkiye’s largest gatherings in human resources and information technologies, the event recognized the best practices in educational technologies.

Among more than 600 projects evaluated this year, TÜRKÇİMENTO Academy was granted the Strategic Business Partner Award for its initiatives that transform sectoral expertise into social value. This award is presented to platforms that provide comprehensive services to diverse participant profiles, and TÜRKÇİMENTO Academy was deemed worthy of this distinction. The award was received on behalf of TÜRKÇİMENTO by Zeynep Aygün Hazer, Department Supervisor of the Education Department.

Operating under the umbrella of the Turkish Cement Manufacturers’ Association (TÜRKÇİMENTO), the Academy offers both online and in-person training for a wide range of participants—from newcomers to the industry to senior executives—while integrating contemporary topics such as energy efficiency, sustainability, and green transformation into its programs. Its activities span from foreign language training and sectoral orientation programs to multi-stakeholder seminars and digital learning content.

In a statement made on behalf of TÜRKÇİMENTO, the following remarks were shared:

“When we established TÜRKÇİMENTO Academy, our goal was to carry the sector’s knowledge into the future, strengthen the culture of lifelong learning, and generate social benefit. Receiving this award from Enocta, with whom we have maintained a successful collaboration for years, confirms that we are on the right path—contributing to the sector’s development while prioritizing sectoral value. This achievement, as the first initiative of its kind in our industry, is a shared pride for all our stakeholders who engage with our Academy. In 2024 alone, TÜRKÇİMENTO Academy organized 42 face-to-face trainings totaling 487 hours, attended by 2,184 participants. Through online programs, we have also reached 3,000 industry professionals with both technical and language courses. Going forward, TÜRKÇİMENTO Academy will continue to enrich its training content through digital tools, develop new sustainability-oriented programs, and strengthen public-private collaborations to further contribute to both the sector and society.”
