The 17th International Technical Seminar and Exhibition, organized by TÜRKÇİMENTO, which is the most prestigious event of the Turkish cement sector with its 67 years of experiment, will take place in Antalya on November 2-5, 2024, bringing together domestic and foreign companies to show their technologies to the industry.

The 17th edition of the technical seminar program, held every two years by TÜRKÇİMENTO, will be held between November 2-5, 2024, at the Kaya Palazzo Golf Resort Belek Hotel in Antalya.  Since 1987, the International Technical Seminar and Exhibition has aimed to introduce technologies developed by domestic and foreign companies serving the cement sector and to create a comparative environment for sector executives to consider investments for  their operations.

At TÜRKÇİMENTO's latest event in 2022, which achieved international success, 629 participants and 224 companies from national and international cement industries came together. The 17th International Technical Seminar and Exhibition Program by TÜRKÇİMENTO in 2024 will once again reunite the cement sector with the participation of both domestic and foreign companies.

Volkan Bozay, CEO of TÜRKÇİMENTO, stated, "With its content, presentations, and closing panel, our technical seminar journey has received great attention both nationally and internationally.  We will continue from where we left off in 2024. We are excited to meet with our industry at the most important gathering where sector executives and stakeholders traditionally come together this year, with an agenda that will evaluate all aspects of our investment  and transformation process towards low-carbon production roadmap. I believe that our 17th meeting will be seen as a turning point in planning our future. We are very excited to meet with our sector again this year at the most prestigious event of the Turkish  cement sector globally."

The event, open to national and international participants from the cement industry, service, and technology providers, provides an opportunity for producers to compare business  areas and evaluate new investments while keeping up with the latest developments.

As Europe's leader and the world's fifth-largest producer, the Turkish cement sector also ranks as the world's second-largest exporter of cement and clinker combined, serving more  than 100 markets. With a capacity equivalent to 119 million tons of cement, the sector operates production in a total of 77 factories, including 56 integrated and 21 grinding plants spread across Turkey. Currently, TÜRKÇİMENTO members represent 94% of the  sector.
