TÜRKÇİMENTO Participated in the Argus Coal Conference

The ARGUS Coal Conference, for which TÜRKÇİMENTO was a media sponsor, took place in Istanbul on April 24–25.

This key industry platform, attended by Turkish cement companies, addressed topics such as global coal trade trends, energy security, supply chain strategies, the future of coal in Türkiye’s energy sector, and sustainability.

At the conference, Kerem Erşen, TÜRKÇİMENTO’s Manager of Economic Assessments, spoke during the session titled “Petroleum Coke Market”, where he provided a general overview of the Turkish cement industry and presented evaluations on the sector’s decarbonization efforts focused on energy efficiency and circular economy, as well as its vision for sustainable production.
